This is my square western card for this week's Stampin'B's challenge. After masking off the edges with Eclipse tape, I stamped images from two different MarkÂ’s Finest PapersÂ’ sets (Regal & Proud and Southwest Cowboy). The cactus was stamped first, using Versafine Sepia and clear embossed. Then I stamped the mountains in the background and the two horses. Finally I sponged in the sky, mountains, and ground. The sentiment is just the first line of the haiku by F. Kessler from Southwest Cowboy. Western is not my style, but IÂ’m happy with the result. Thanks, Vicky, for taking me out of my comfort zone.

Lois, this is a gorgeous monochromatic card..lots of stamping and masking. But, it was certainly worth it. Of course, this would be a super, masculine card.
